Experience

Dr. Strom has worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including college and community mental health centers. She has clinical experience working with a wide range of issues including, but not limited to:

• anxiety
• stress management
• depression
• disordered eating
• body image concerns
• grief
• living with chronic illness
• parenting issues
• post-partum difficulties
• significant life transitions

Background

Dr. Strom graduated with distinction from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies. She earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Miami University of Ohio. Her pre-doctoral internship was completed at the University of Cincinnati’s Psychological Services Center. More recently she has worked at Xavier University’s Wellness Center and the Wellness Center at the College of Mount St. Joseph.
